And here begins episode 17! See guys, I told you I was going to try updating faster, now. Obviously I'll probably slow down once this story arc ends, as it's a favorite of mine so I've really been enjoying the process, BUT! Perhaps not. You can definitely expect things to slow down around the Dialga arc though because I do not want to draw Dialga man.

But back to this update! Many of you guessed that this was what our mysterious male friend had in mind when he said that he was going to help the team to grow. What better way to put our Galactic ally to use than as a trade mechanism? And it looks like he threw in a little bonus at the end there. Hmm, I wonder who that dusk stone could be for....;DDD

I really did evolve Quartz basically as soon as she became a Graveller. My IRL friend Justin helped me out. I've never much cared for Graveller. I've never much cared for Golem, either, but at least that design has more alterations I can get away with without making the pokemon unrecognizable. (Speaking of which, what do you guys think of that Golemasaurus Rex design? It's really fun to draw, and to me it feels much more organic than boldersaur. :U)

Justin also gave me that Dusk Stone early on, so that's not a plot exaggeration, either. I will disclose only that someone gets evolved far faster than someone might usually get to evolve if someone else hadn't schemed brilliantly, if you know what I mean.

This is probably my favorite panel layout I've done to date. I love kitty-corner progressive floating panels. Floating panels, guys. Floating panels all over the place.
